Pictures, finally

So, here's the picture of the Sweetie Pie that I never uploaded!

And a few more pictures....
Walking around before lunch at the Shops at La Cantera.

In New Orleans, I went with Leo twice to the Parenting Center.  It's a really nice place where kids can play.  It is well equipped and Leo seems to enjoy going there!

Christmas officially over here

I just got back from spending 10 days in New Orleans.  Guillermo stayed home for several reasons.  First was he needed to take Eva and Leo to the airport the day after Fernando and I left for New Orleans.  We drove and they had a return flight.
Second, Guillermo had a doctor appointment during the 10 days and third, he was really worried about all his plants and the severe cold that was approaching.
Well, he did his best but it got too cold for too long and many plants were lost and several others were severely hurt.  Even that Staghorn fern out front hanging from the tree, as well wrapped up as it was, doesn't look all that good anymore.  Most of the plants hurt will recover, but they're going to look ugly for a while until they do recover.
BUT, we did a Hangout with Guillermo almost everyday and oh how Leo loved seeing his abuelito.  He'd get such a big smile on his face and then he would take the tablet and walk around with Abuelito's face to his chest.  Of course, this made it impossible for Guillermo to see anything, but we kept him informed of the love that was going on that he couldn't see!!!  Then when it was time to hang up, Leo and Abuelito always gave each other kisses over the tablet.  It was precious.

So, it's the day after getting back from New Orleans and it's time to take down and put away all the Christmas stuff.  Sigh.

But there are good memories to keep me going.  It was a very nice Christmas.  Here's a picture of the little sweetie pie back in New Orleans.
(oops, need to upload it.  Maybe tomorrow......)
