This was the view from the lodge that we stayed at in Las Cruces. Lovely little place that we were glad we found.
Our new favorite restaurant in La Mesilla has a bar that reminds us so much of the famous cafe, Tortoni's, in Buenos Aires.
I had the privilege of going to one of Scotty's friend's birthday party. Wow, what a wild affair that was with all those 3 year olds!!! It was so much fun for me to see him play with his friends!
It was a pool party but unfortunately the pool wasn't "small kid" friendly. So they all just played and ran around the party area. It was exhausting to see them running so much!

Then we took two days to drive home, spent one night at our house and then took two days to drive on to New Orleans.
We went to lots of parks, the zoo and the play center several times with Leo.

Almost every day we would take a walk to the levee, which is a block from their house. Leo loves going there.
