Easter Weekend

Here is our Easter Weekend in a nutshell.

Fernando, Eva and Leo came over on Thursday for the Swedish tradition of kids dressing up like cute little witches and appearing at doors bringing a little drawing in exchange for some candy.  It's almost like Halloween.

Fernando and Eva went back home for a school meeting and Leo spent Thursday night with us.

We spent Friday morning doing one of Leo's most favorite things - putting a Lego together.

Fernando and Eva came back later that day, after another meeting, and had dinner with us.  Then they spent Friday night with us.
Saturday, we all went to Fernando and Eva's house.  We spent part of the day getting a garden ready for them.  Two trips were made to Lowe's to bring blocks to make the raised garden.  Fernando grilled that evening and that night we got ready for Easter the next day.

Every year since Scotty was born we spent Easter with Rebeca and family.  Last year, because of Covid, we did not go to Tucson but enjoyed a nice Easter day with Fernando and family.  This year, we almost went to Tucson for Easter but some doctor appointments got in the way of leaving for 10 days.  It was nice to be able to spend Easter morning with Fernando and family.

Fernando and Eva got their second dose of the Covid vaccine March 26, and Rebeca got her first dose on March 30.  Rebeca had a strong reaction to her vaccine - the usual side effects of chills, fever, fatigue, etc.  It took her a good three days to start feeling better.  Jason got his first dose on April 3 and had no reaction whatsoever.
