Every single evening, the Great Horned Owls come to the tree that is in the field behind our house. If not two of them, then at least one comes. He seems to watch us as we go about what we're doing in the yard or on the deck and we give him a wave hello. After a few hootings, he takes off to his next spot. We just love the daily visits.
An update to what has been happening with my doctor appointments.
On September 23, I had an echocardiogram done. On September 24th, I did the treadmill stress test. For that test, I had been absolutely DREADING it because my instruction papers sort of led me to believe I might be getting an IV inserted for the testing. Well, the day of the test, it became apparent that I was only going to be getting on the treadmill and not have an IV or anything. Wow, if I could have only known that for sure beforehand. I wouldn't have stressed about it at all.
October 4th I went back to the cardiologist for the results. He said the echocardiogram was normal and that I "blew away" the stress test! So, those were both good news!
We are looking forward to Guillermo's brother Alfred and a friend of Alfred's arriving tomorrow!
