Wow, the extended forecast calls for the high to get close to 70 degrees this coming week! With the lows still being in the high 40s. Close to 70 is getting better, but it's still not warm enough, especially when the nights are so cold. But maybe now, the temperature will start inching up ever so slightly and hopefully by the beginning of April we'll be able to start wearing something other than sweaters and long sleeves.
We were going to drive to Santa Pola yesterday so that we could catch a ferry to Tabarca Island. It's a good thing we decided against it, because the weather was cloudy and cold and it would have been rough to be out there on the water. We have decided to not even attempt that trip again unless the weather is clear, and hot! We may leave Spain before the weather gets like that, though.
