It was one of those challenging washing days today. Weather was decent when the washing machine was started, but by the time the clothes were ready to hang, the weather had deteriorated. The clothes lasted on the line about an hour before it started sprinkling. We strung up a line in the living room to hang the smaller stuff. Amazingly enough, later on in the afternoon, the sun came out and it was fairly warm outside! So we moved the line to outside and most of the clothes finished drying quickly then in the sun and wind. The clothes had been hanging there about an hour before we started hearing thunder but it was ok because by then they were all dry.
So, it thundered for a while and then rained a little and THATS when the winds got really wild and blustery and that ushered in the colder temperatures again. The next two nights it's supposed to get down to about 42, which for here is really cold. Maybe just maybe THIS time, this is the last of the "cold fronts". Can only hope.
