Our flight to Panama was good - we had good weather the whole way so we were able to look out our plane window and see lots of the landscape of Costa Rica as we flew. We saw very well the Osa Peninsula and Guillermo pointed out the river he and Fernando went down several years ago, and then talked about the boat ride they took through the estuaries. Then we saw the point where Costa Rica and Panama meet and next thing we knew we were in David, Panama. It was about an hour flight.
We right away got a taxi and about 40 minutes later were back in Boquete. Where it was nice and cool! We called Terri, who would meet us at our new villa where we'll be staying the next few weeks. Wow, this new villa is nice. We feel very comfortable here and really like how it looks and how it is set up. We unpacked everything and just moved right in. Then we walked into town to have an early dinner and when we left the restaurant we could see that it was starting to drizzle. We walked to the bank to get some money and then did a little grocery shopping. By the time we finished, it was dark and still drizzling - and that's how it was when we walked back to our house! Felt good!!!
We'll get some pictures soon!
