My laptop has quit. All it does when I try to turn it on is beep 6 times, and then beep 5 times. The laptop does turn on, I can tell it's on, but there the screen stays black.
Major sigh.
I can barely trust taking any of our computers in to a repair place in San Antonio, so who knows WHAT it's going to be like taking it to a repair place here. But we took it in anyway and are just going to have to hope for the best.
Hopefully they won't do anything as disgusting as they did when Fernando took his laptop in to a place in San Antonio and they REFORMATTED his hard drive, without even notifying him that that was what they were going to do. Here's hoping the place we took my laptop has better business sense than that.
